Eligibility Criteria
Educational & Technical Qualification
- All Tradesman/Pioneer Post : Minimum Matriculation (10th-pass) from recognized board.
- CT(Driver) : Minimum Matriculation and Must possess a heavy Transport vehicle Driving License and pass a driving test.
- CT (Motor Mechanic Vehicle): 10th class pass plus a 2-year ITI certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle and one year of practical experience.
- Pioneer (Mason/Electrician): One year of experience in the respective trade; ITI certificate holders are preferred.
Age Limit
- Constable Driver: Minimum Age Limit 21 Years and Maximum Age Limit 27 Years (Born Between 02/01/1999 and 01/01/2025)
- Other Trades & Pioneer Post : Minimum Age Limit 18 Years and Maximum Age Limit 23 Years ( Born Between 02/01/2003 and 01/01/2008)

Selection Process
The CRPF Constable Recruitment selection process is multi-staged and rigorous, designed to test both physical fitness and mental aptitude:
- ✅️Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Includes a run. For example, male drivers must complete 5 kms in 24 minutes, while females in certain trades must complete 1.6 kms in 8.30 minutes.
- ✅️Physical Standard Test (PST): Measurement of height (General Male: 170 cm; Female: 157 cm) and chest (Male: 80 cm un-expanded).
- ✅️Computer Based Test (CBT): An objective exam with 100 questions covering General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Mathematics, and English/Hindi.
- ✅️Trade Test: A practical test worth 50 marks (20 marks required to qualify) to assess skill in the specific applied trade.
- ✅️Document Verification & Medical Examination: Final checks of original certificates and a detailed medical assessment (DME/RME).

Q1. What is the application fee and who is exempt from paying it ?
The examination fee is Rs 100/- for each post applied for. This fee is only mandatory for male candidates in the General, EWS, and OBC categories. All female candidates, Ex-servicemen, and candidates belonging to SC or ST categories are fully exempted from paying the fee.
Q2. Can I apply for more than one post or trade ?
A candidate is permitted to apply for one post in each category, meaning one from Technical & Tradesmen and one from the Pioneer wing. If you apply for two posts, you must indicate your preferences. Submitting multiple applications for the same category is strictly prohibited and will result in the rejection of all your applications.
