Eligibility Criteria for Assam Rifles Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Class 10th / HS from a recognized board(as applicable)
Age:
Minimum Age limit: 18 Years
Maximum Age limit: 23 Years
Category wise Age Relaxation as per government rules.
Applicability:
Only one family member can be considered eligible under the Assam Rifles dependent quota if the personnel meets any of the following conditions:
- Lost their life in the line of duty
- Passed away while serving
- Was discharged due to medical reasons
- Went missing during service
Definition of Dependent Family Members
The term “dependent family member” includes:
(a) Husband or wife
(b) Son, including legally adopted son
(c) Daughter, including legally adopted daughter
(d) Brother or sister, in cases where the government employee was unmarried and they were fully dependent on the employee at the time of death during service or medical retirement
How to Apply Assam Rifles Recruitment 2026
Applicants must submit their applications in offline mode using the prescribed format provided. The application should be accompanied by self-attested copies of all relevant documents, including:
- Educational qualification certificates
- Domicile certificate
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Diploma, technical, or ITI certificates related to the trade, as per the required eligibility criteria
- One photocopy of a valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, etc.
